The ambiance strikes a balance between minimalistic charm and zen-like tranquility, making it an ideal spot for a quiet coffee chat or solo work session.
As a food reviewer, I was particularly taken by Grid Coffee's diverse drink menu. From classic offerings like the Americano and rich Mocha to unique choices like the Kyoto Cold Brew Latte and Einspanner, there is something to please every palate. The café doesn't just focus on coffee; the loose leaf tea selection is equally enticing. Signature teas such as Blueberry Rooibos and Thai Chai stand out, with their vibrant flavors inviting customers to explore.
But it's the customer experiences that truly shine a light on what makes Grid Coffee special. Patrons rave about the spacious interiors and the kind, attentive staff. Customer Abby N. describes the café as a retreat where "free parking" and a "calm environment" elevate the experience. She couldn't stop praising the Blue Lavender Matcha, dubbing it one of her favorite drinks ever. This sentiment is echoed by Jasmine A., who enjoyed her Ice Cream Matcha Latte that was "sooo good," demonstrating the café's knack for delivering quality beverages.
Beyond the drinks, Grid Coffee’s ethos of creating a welcoming space is palpable. The thoughtful decor and communal seating encourage connection—a trait that Viv N. appreciated during her visit. Despite a rush on weekends, the staff are described as “super nice and helpful,” cozying up to their customers, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout. Regulars like Shelley C. and Lauren W. cherish this atmosphere, finding comfort in returning time and again, even during hectic times.

Free parking Super kind employees Calm environment with minimal decor The blue lavender matcha was one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Stopped by on Saturday, 07/06/24 for the first time. Ordered the following to go: - 1 Ice Cream Matcha Latte (medium, less sweet) = $6.25 / added oatmilk (additonal $1) TOTAL =$7.25 sooo good. I feel like the matcha wasn't as strong but the foam made it way better. I also loved their spacious interiors.

Came here lots during pandemic and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. Came back with a friend and was a good reminder! Ambiance is very zen Japandi like and beautiful, they don't have lavender blue dream anymore or the waffles but tried other teas and they were good! Got the rooibos passionfruit. Service was fast and friendly!

Finally made the drive!! The clean minimal interior is *chef kiss.* Unlike the reviews, there was barely a crowd on a Friday afternoon. Good amount of seating with a communal table but no back support :') Best for coffee chats or a quick work sesh. We ordered the einspanner and iced dalgona latte. Einspanner is a lil too thick & the dalgona latte not v sweet so mix both for maximum taste! I asked for light ice on the dalgona but wouldn't recommend bc my cup wasn't full. The dalgona also tasted more like an IVL?? Letting the honeycombs melt made it sweeter but still didn't give me that dalgona/honeycomb taste I was craving :-( I really love the space & their aesthetic so I'll have to come back and try again!

Parking and seating is pretty good, but this place can get busy. But the seating is super nice and minimalistic and has outlets for people trying to work. The staff had been nice and helpful. I got the Einspanner latte, the cream top was so good! But the latte itself under the cream top was a bit acidic, which just isn't to my liking. Other than that I would def try to come back and get some of their other drinks.

Came here many different times and occasions especially since it's nearby where I live, but it's definitely one of my favorite spots for drinks and coffee! Their blue lavender latte and their iced lavender matcha lattes are literally the best and I mean it. Nothing has come close so far. Service is always nice and friendly and quick! Can be a great place to work/study depending on where you are able to snatch seats! Theres only one community table that you can comfortably do work, the other seats you would sit awkwardly bit for work! With that kind of seating, it's probably not recommended for large groups, but good for one on ones! Sometimes it gets pretty busy! Plenty of parking! Highly recommended and will always come here!

Food/Drink: So happy this isn't close to my home cause I would run out of my money. Loved the dalgona coffee which came with honeycomb!! I've never tried a drink like it and there were so many other drinks I wanted to try. Will definitely come back Service: fast and friendly service!! Atmosphere: cute and minimalist! 4-5 tables with lots of seating without tables. Other: lots of people were working in the cafe so I'm assuming it is a good place to work? But didn't get a chance to test outlets or wifi.

Grid coffee is so good. Honestly it is the best coffee shop in the area and maybe even I.E. my favorite coffee shop is Maru Coffee in dtla (which is also Japanese inspired) but since it's a drive, Grid is a nice alternative. They also have soft top cream and it is delicious. I recommend it with any iced coffee variants. They also have some food items for purchase. Grid uses top notch ingredients and they also offer milk alternatives. If you're in the area and are a coffee lover, give it a try.
